On August 22, Originwater and Head Office Sales Department of China Citic Bank signed strategic cooperation agreement inBeijing. China Citic Bank will offer intentional credit line with total amount of 10 billion yuan to Originwater in order to fully support PPP project financing and merge & acquisition business of Originwater. It is reported that Originwater acquired 20 billion credit line from China Development Bank in 2014; the Agreement signed with China Citic Bank marked that the cooperation of Orginwater and financial institutes achieve a big step forward. 

On the signing ceremony, Executive Vice President of Originwater He Yuanping signed strategic cooperation agreement with GM Assistant of Head Office Sales Department of China Citic Bank on behalf of each party. 

According to the Agreement, China Citic Bank will offer Originwater 10 billion yuan intentional credit line within 3 years, including project loan, liquidity loan, trade financing business, bill business, guarantee letter, letter of credit. In addition, China Citic Bank will also offer Originwater bank investment, group account cash management, enterprise finance, assets management, international trade and other “one-package” financial products as well as “one-stop” financial service. 

Board Chairman of Originwater expresses that, as the leading company in water purification industry, Originwater enjoys natural advantages in technology and management mechanism; by virtue of the current enhanced cooperation with financial institutes, Originwater will also enjoy capital advantage. He believes that, under the support of China Citic Bank, Originwater will size the opportunity in this round PPP mode advancement by the country, continuously keep its leading position in water purification field and become to reliable backbone environmental protection power to the country.
